Dream, Dear Child, Dream
Dream dear child dream
They whispered in my ear
Hold on to your truths
The realities that you know
Sleep and let your mind free
Imagination goes wild and untamed
This is where the truths and where the realities begin
Hold tight dear one
And Dream
Live your dream with reckless abandon
Feel safe in knowing
Your inner knowing is right on track
Now Love
Oh sweet Love
That’s feeds the soul
But you know that… Ha
It is what your are trying to convince the world to have
Away from the abstract into the truth
Which is Love.
Now Dream
And it will be.
Poem from Jennifer Hillman's first book of poetry, Embracing Souls: Poetry of the Dance, Volume One.
