Insights can come to you in every possible way, form and inkling. Insights can be a flash of thoughts that give you the way out of a situation or understand the situation from a different perspective. To me, insights are the thoughts, feeling, senses that seem from somewhere outside or from the very heart of your soul through a wave of emotions, positive or negative, and through an inner knowing.

Examples are a sign of a friend calling you out of the blue who you just thought about, your animal coming to you when you are upset or sad to let you know you aren’t alone and loved. Other ways are a repeated song, phrase, book, person’s name, etc. The list is endless of how the spiritual realm comes through to get your attention and this does include your own heart and soul shaking you to realize what you are doing and going to give you an inner peace to your situation. At times, it does not seem like a pleasure wake up call, though it is always a blessing in the end of the journey. Learning acceptance and allowing your inner guidance to come through, much healing and progress happening in miraculous ways if you surrender and take the proper action as these insights may tell you.

Common insights are to call someone, trust yourself (one of the hardest ones for many), patience (I often thought of having this tattooed on my forehead to remind me. Ha), an action to take or wait for something to come to you.

One lesson that I personally have learned from the insights through the years is that my thoughts and emotions produce my realities…good or bad. I can only give myself the responsibility of what I have created. It is so easy to blame this situation on that person or this person did that and the consequence ended with that. Well, it is true that we are all one and one’s free will and choice can be reflected in other’s paths. Paths are self correcting through subconscious connection with the higher realms.
